I handed in my first concept and now I have to wait until my study advisor in the Netherlands gives me feedback on this. The research for my internship is going as planned. I can really recommend to bring a visit to Marstrand. There are many different places to swim and the view is amazing. The island is calm and has many walking routes and a big castle. Only a few ferries go from and to the island so cars are not to be seen. Marstrand is located at the coast, in the west of Sweden. The nicest place I’ve visited in Sweden is Marstrand. You’ll find store and webshop outlets regularly. A great benefit for the people and students in Borås is that there are often many outlet sales in and around the city. This is the reason why it became such a big student city because the schools for textile studies are located here. I have a few roommates from Indonesia, France, Finland, Iran, Syria but particularly from Sweden.īorås is the textile city of Sweden. It’s nice to share food as well and to live together with different nationalities because you get to learn a lot about other cultures. Everyone cooks for themselves normally and then we eat together around a big table. It’s nice to share stories with others and to eat together. I enjoy every evening in the house where I’m living. The beach is a one and a half hour drive from Borås, so that is why we always go to the lake when the weather is nice. As mentioned earlier, the city really comes alive as soon as it’s sunny. This month I went to a lake with friends several times. It seems like the nice weather also got to Sweden.
